In 2012 the national percentage of negative to positive messages in all political advertising was 94% to 6%! It was at this time that I decided to write and create my own 'positive' political messages based on commercial advertising. We wrote scripts and produced broadcast spots and digital media aimed at appealing to voters as consumers. I took the time to listen to what people wanted in their lives and created messaging that affirmed their beliefs. The end result were television spots that were literally off the charts and digital media that received overwhelming support on social media. You see...positive works!!
Positive Works!
The video above is the live "dial test" that was done with a 30 person focus group in 2013. The test ads were "Who We Are" and "From Within". On a scale where 60's are considered very good and 70's are excellent, 'Who We Are" peaked at 92 and 'From Within" at 82.
